Assignment 1: Workflow

I chose sunsets for the theme for this assignment. I listed all the different stages of my workflow, from pre shoot check to my final selection.


Pre shoot: I checked my camera battery was charged and made sure my lens was clean
On the shoot: I adjusted my camera settings to suit the light conditions. I deleted some photos on the shoot that were really bad.
After the shoot:
These are the photo that I uploaded for my memory card to my computer. Then I imported them into Lightroom. Then I would create a new collection called assignment 1.

I then checked the images for technical mistakes and then deleted any mistakes. At this stage I took a few photos out because they had some camera shake and some was too dark.

This is my final selection. At this stage I will save them to my external hard drive and they would be ready to print.

I have never planned my workflow in advance before, I just did it in a random sort of way. I find it much easier planning my workflow. I also think about what ajustments I need to make to my workflow, for different types of photo shoot now. which I never did before.
