For this exercise took photos of flowers in my garden, 75 in all. Since starting this course I have been taking a lot more photo per photo shoot. Before I used to take a few of the same subject, but now I take loads more.
I aways back up my photos on an external hard drive. I find it easier than putting the on cds, less time consuming.
The Technical Edit.
I took a few photos out, that was out of focus and had some camera shake.
The 1st Selects.
These photo are my 1st selects, because they will fit in well with my idea for the photo. Which will be a tight crop of the flower head. Many of the other photo in the set, are very similar photos to these ones.
2nd selects
I think these four photos are the best out of the set. I like the colours of the flowers and the light.
The final triage
I really like these two photo and think they would make a good tight crop of the flower head.
I have learnt a lot from this exercise, I've never done my editing in any kind of order. I think editing a stage by stage way is a much better way of doing it. I think there may be gaps in the way I edit, but with practice I will develop my own style
