Exercise 9: Scene Dynamic Range

For this exercise I had to take a number of photos to show a scene,s dynamic range. I took five photo in all, These are two of the photos. One of high contrast and one of low contrast.

Photo 1 High contrast

 I used spot metering on both photo to find out the scene's dynamic range.

for this photo there was 4 a stop difference between the light and the dark area of the photo.

1sec - 1/60 secs.

Photo 2 Low contrast

There was a 5 stop difference in this photo, between the light and the dark areas in the photo.

1sec . 1/125 secs.
