Exercise 12: Managing Tone

For this exercise, I have to make some processing  adjustments to a JPEG image and the raw image. These adjustments are basic standard adjustments. I will be looking at contrast, brightness and to make sure there is no colour cast in the photos.

I used a levels adjustment layer in Photoshop to brighten this image up. I moved the white pointer in the levels adjustment layer towards the left-hand side to where most of the information was starting. I could see no obvious colour cast in this photo.

This image needed brightening up I used a number of sliders in the raw converter.  I used the exposure slider, the blacks slider and the contrast slider to achieve this result.
