Exercise 16 : Strength of Interpretation

In this exercise I processed two photo one colour and converted on to blacl and white. I wanted to create a high and low key image. One in colour and one in black and white.

I used the curves in Photoshop to process these images. The colours in the low key image are really strong and some of the shadow detail is lost. The  oposite applys to the high key image, some of the detial is lost in the highlight.

Iu used the channel mixer layer to convert the image ti black and white. Then I added a levels adjutment layer to change the image into low key.
