Exercise 7: Your Tolerance for Noise

I have taken a series of photos showing the whole ISO settings on my camera. The range of ISO settings are from 100-6400. I took 17 photos covering the whole range of ISO setting on my camera. I am not going to put all 17 photos on my blog, Because it would be too many.

Photo 1
ISO 100
There was no visible signs of noise at this point. Which you wouldn't expect there to be, at such a low ISO setting.
Photo 2
ISO 400
Noise started around ISO 400 setting. it looks alright in narmal view, but when I zoomed in it was quite noticable in the highlights and shadows.

Photo 3
ISO 800
I don't think there is alot of difference between IOS 400 and ISO 800. my camera seem to handle noise at these setting quite well.
Photo 4

Photo 5

Photo 6

Photo 7
